1984 James “Casey” Russell

At Peddie Institute (High School) in 1931 he set state records in the long jump and shot put. Then a four year football and track athlete at Temple University. He went on to play two seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles. He coached youth baseball and other sports for the Butler Cubs organization, and coached for a decade for the Butler PONY League baseball group.
