1985 John McNanny

A Butler HS graduate of the early 1940’s where he was an outstanding football player. He also played for the semi-pro Butler Cubs football team.He earned Tri-State honors with Cubs in 1942. And returned to play for the Cubs after WW II. He was named the Cubs MVP in 1947 and co-captained the team in 1947 & 48. Those same two years he selected to the All-Pittsburgh Sun-Telegraph teams.
