1997 Dale Mahan

A Winfield HS graduate where he played basketball for three seasons. He went on to play baseball and soccer at Slippery Rock University. Ater he graduated from SRU he went on to earn his Masters Degree at the University of Pittsburgh. He also was a veteran of the Korean War. After college he had a long career coaching for 25 years in basketball winning two consecutive District 9 championships, and 33 consecutive dual track meets and three WPIAL Championships in track. He also taught for 37 years at Knoch HS.
