2009 William “Bill” Bauder

A 1932 Portersville HS graduate, he helped found the Butler Eagle County Baseball League. Bill donated his own land to build a baseball field for the Eagle County League for the Middle Lancaster entrant. The land became Lancaster Park. He played starting in 1935, managed, and served on the board until 1975.
