2011 Don Hixon

A 1936 Penn Township HS graduate, and also captain of the basketball team his senior year. He went on to play for various independent leagues in Western Pennsylvania and also coached youth baseball. Many of his youth players went on to play at the collegiate level. He was also an outstanding catcher for Penn Twp. in the Butler Eagle Co. Baseball League.
