2013 Charles “Chud” Cunningham

A 1964 Karns City HS graduate who lettered three years in basketball, and track along with one year in football. He was selected for the Class B All- State team his junior and senior year. He placed first his senior year in the PIAA District 10 Track Championship in the shot put. He set a new Karns City HS record of 52′ 6″. Following HS he began a long and successful career playing softball on local Western PA teams, tournament teams that won national championships, and played one season for the Pittsburgh Hard Hats, a professional softball team.
