2014 Steven Napora

A 1936 Butler HS graduate He played on the first Butler HS golf team in1935 and also played on the 1936 golf team. As hte captain of the 1936 team he tied for 16th place in the PIAA Golf Championship, and also placed 3rd in the WPIAL Golf Championship. He became the first Butler golfer to medal in both the WPIAL and PIAA playoffs. As an amateur golfer , he won the 1956 Butler Country Club Championship. He was also instrumental in helping design and build he first 9 holes at Krendale Golf Course.
