He started his baseball career in the East Butler Baseball Association in 1983, starting with Little League through American Legion baseball. 1993 Butler HS graduate who lettered two years in baseball. His junior year he led the team in batting with an average of .349. His senior year his pitching record was 6-1 with a .098 ERA. His batting average was .393, leading the WPIAL with five triples. HE aerned the Outstanding Pitcher Award also his senior year. He went to play baseball at Indiana University fo PA. for four years. He was the team captain his junior and senior years. His collegiate career ERA was 3.35. he earned PSAC 1st Team All- Conference PSAC Pitcher of the Year in 1996, and ABCA All-Region in 1997, and PSAC 1st Team All-Conference . His records are 1st in games pitches with 38, 2nd in games started with 30, and ranks 2nd with 18 complete games, and innings pitched with 196. He also played for various baseball organizations while in college and post college. He played for the Johnstown Knickerbockers, the Kansas Jayhawk League, North Pittsburgh Federation League, and the Saxonburg Eagle County Baseball League on several championship teams. Most recently he has been a school teacher in Florida and has pitched for several NABA Teams including the Pompano Beach Barracudas , the West Palm Beach Hurricanes, and Palm Beach Bums. He also has had a long coaching career with high school teams in South Florida.
