A 1993 Butler HS graduate who lettered three years in football. He was named the Butler High School Defensive Player of the Year in 1992 & 1993. He attended Slippery Rock University after high and then began a successful professional boxing career. Starting in 2004 he defeated Jeremy Bates to win the West Virginia Heavyweight title. He had wins over Vinny Madalone in 2006 and Axel Schultz in 2007 and lost in the WBO Heavyweight title to Luan Krasnigi, and later in 2007 he defeated Byron Polley foro the WBS Federcentio title. InApril of 2008 deended his title against Chad Van Sickle and again in July of 2008 at Pullman Park in Butler, PA, then in November 2008 against Galen Brown, and then in August 2009 he again returned to Pullman Park to fight Donnell Holmes. In October 2010 he defeated Pierre Karman for the WBC Continental Americas Cruiserweight title. In 2013 he defeated Shane Cameron for the WBO Oriental Heavyweight title. In 2016 he defeated Andras Csmor at Kelly Automotive PArk which was his last fight. He ended his career with a final record of 42-11 with 27 KO’s.
