1979 ​Sam Walker

An 1893 Butler HS graduate. Organized sports were not available at Butler during his time. He went on to play football at Penn State from 1894 – 1896 He then moved on to coach football at VMI. One of his players at VMI was General George C.Marshall. Marshall gave credit to Sam for helping him with his military career.
