1996 Douglas Clark

A 1963 Knoch HS graduate. He was an MVP in basketball and football and served as captain of both teams. During his three seasons on the basketball squad he set both the career scoring record and single season mark. In the 1961-62 and the 1962-63 seasons is team won the District 9 Championships. He went on to play basketball at Rutgers University where he started for three seasons alongside 1st team All-American Bob Lloyd, and the late Jim Valvano. He played in the NIT basketball tournament, and also earned scholastic and academic honors.
