1997 Jayne Beatty

A 1980 Moniteau HS graduate where she played basketball and track. She continued her athletic career at Slippery Rock University from 1981 – 1985. She holds school records at SRU in the shot put (14.92m) and discus (50.87m). She was a three time All-American in both the shot put and discus. In 1985 she was named PSAC champion in the discus. She was also an Academic All-American. She has coached and taught at the high school level for many years.
